Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy describes how orders placed with Gutabit Technology are processed, delivered, or collected. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Order Collection & Delivery Options

1.1 Personal Pickup (Nairobi Office)

Customers may collect orders from our office at:

Collection Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed

Customers must present a valid ID and order confirmation at the time of collection.


1.2 Delivery Within Nairobi

We offer delivery within Nairobi.

  • Estimated delivery time: 1–3 business days after order confirmation

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Available only for selected locations within Nairobi CBD and nearby areas, subject to confirmation


1.3 Delivery Outside Nairobi

We deliver nationwide through third-party courier partners.

  • Estimated delivery time: 2–7 business days depending on location

  • Payment requirement: Full payment is required before dispatch

  • Orders may be delivered to the nearest courier pickup station where door-to-door service is not available


2. Delivery Fees

Delivery charges are calculated based on:

  • Delivery location

  • Package size and weight

  • Type of product

Typical Charges:

  • Small/standard items: From KES 500 (within Nairobi)

  • Bulky or specialized items: Quoted individually

Orders above KES 250,000 may qualify for discounted or free delivery within Nairobi (subject to order details).

All delivery fees are confirmed before order dispatch.


3. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1 business day after payment confirmation

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day


4. Proof of Delivery

A delivery note, receipt, or courier confirmation will serve as proof of delivery.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Someone is available to receive the order

  • The correct delivery details are provided


5. Partial Deliveries

Orders may be shipped in multiple deliveries if:

  • Items are sourced from different locations, or

  • Some items are temporarily out of stock

Customers will be notified in advance where possible.


6. Courier & Third-Party Delivery Services

We may use third-party logistics providers to fulfill deliveries.

  • Delivery timelines depend on the courier service selected

  • Once dispatched, delivery responsibility is shared with the courier provider

If a customer chooses their own courier, the customer assumes full responsibility for delivery coordination and risk after dispatch.


7. Delivery Delays

While we aim to meet stated timelines, delays may occur due to:

  • High order volumes

  • Traffic or logistical constraints

  • Weather conditions

  • Courier service disruptions

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers.


8. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are advised to inspect all items upon receipt.

If there is any issue (damage, missing items, or incorrect product), customers must report it within 48 hours (2 business days) of delivery by contacting us.


9. Evaluation, Demonstration, or Consignment Items

Items provided for evaluation or demonstration:

  • Must be returned in original condition

  • Must comply with agreed return timelines

Any exceptions must be confirmed in writing.
