With the lack of modern mounting systems for the HK G36, this helps in perhaps the most unrecognized way: retention. Utilizing a B&T quad rail with Magpul 1913 QD mount and now coupled with the PMM Rear QD Sling Mount, I can manipulate my TG36 as a primary while carrying a pistol just the way I want to.
